Mountain Gorilla

- George B. Schaller's year in Africa studying the mountain gorilla resulted in the book, The Year of the Gorilla, and footage for this film. His was one of the first gorilla studies made in the wild and it dispelled many mistaken ideas about gorillas. Shows the mountain gorilla's characteristic ecology, its ranging area, the food it eats and its social organization.
