- Employment discrimination on the basis of sex is illegal. For women, existing laws or changing the laws has not always eliminated the problem. Looks at several cases of sex discrimination in employment with Harriet Rabb, Assistant Daan of the Columbia University Law School, offering a step-by-step analysis of how to recognize, document and combat such cases. The need to organize for group action, the desirability of legal help and the emotional strain involved in any prolonged fight against discrimination are covered in detail.
