ABC's of Behavioral Education, The

- Emphasizes the relationships between antecedents, behaviors and consequences; describes how antecedents and consequences can be programmed in a school environment to influence staff and student behaviors using the Anne Arundel County Learning Center. The students, ranging in age from 12-17 years, have, as a result of a variety of social and academic deficits, histories of failure, punishment and frustration in traditional school settings. Success is maximized for the students by individualized instruction through a curriculum broken down into surmountable academic tasks. Motivation is built through positive reinforcement.
