- Shot in the cedar forest of the Moroccan Middle Atlas Mountains, the social behavior and ecology of Macaca sylvanus, the Barbary macaque, is shown including sexual, grooming, spacing behavior and the development of the young. Features the care of infants by both sexes and describes interactions in which one individual (male or female) uses an infant macaque to regulate its own social status. Produced by John M.
