  • Presents an unusual view of the old city of Jerusalem as it is and as it soon may appear when planned redevelopment of certain sectors takes place. Moishe Safdie, Montreal architect, has been appointed to reconcile the need for change with traditional values. His plans, shown in scale models, are in harmony with ancient architecture and encompass the "innocent doorways" that lead from walled streets to pleasant courtyards.
