Anything They Want to Be

- Explores sex role stereotypes in intellectual and career-oriented activities. Covering both elementary and high school events, two themes are illustrated: the low level of competence expected of girls in both academic and vocational problem-solving tasks and the subtle manner in which girls' career aspirations are channeled. Also shows how career expectations are already sexually biased in kindergarten pupils.
