Incest: The Victim Nobody Believes
- 1976 ----- color ----- 20 min ----- 16mm/vhs
- (Northwest Resource Center for Children, Youth and Families) Three young women openly discuss what it's like to be a little girl caught in a web of fear, confusion, isolation and guilt. Their frank discussion of the typical problems and effects of sexual abuse begins to break down the traditional taboos that have forced the incest victim to remain silent. Unlike physical abuse, sexual abuse leaves no marks; yet the emotional scars heal far more slowly than the bruises left by physical punishment.
