I Am Pablo Neruda

• Pablo Neruda, the Latin American poet, was awarded one of literature's most prestigious honors--the Nobel Prize. Follows the poet through several days in his life in Santiago, Chile, and at his fabled seaside home on Chile's rocky coast--fusing the private man with the public poet. Neruda is closely akin to Walt Whitman and Edgar Allan Poe as his poetry combines an exquisite internal lyrical sensibility with public affirmation of the goodness of life with all its horror and beauty. Neruda's poetry is spoken in the English translation of Professor Ben Bellit by the English actor, Anthony Quale.
