- Continuing from the previous film, this section deals with the remainder of the year covered. After the summer solstice, the seasonal onset of easterly flow in latitudes centered on 25 degrees North, and the re-establishment of westerly flow after the fall equinox, are noteworthy. They correlates with the onset and completion of the summer rainfall season over the Sierra Occidental. The field covered by these films includes the portion of the full-disk image North of 5 degrees latitude with date-time annotations. The center of the full-disk image shifts from 115 to 135 degrees West longitude during a 10-day period in early December when the satellite was relocated.
