- (Image India series) Shows a middle-aged Tengalia Sri-Vaisnava brahmin retiring to the privacy of the inner court of his home, there taking pure, fresh water from the well and seating himself facing in the direction of the morning sunrise; he then applies his sectarian mark on the forehead, (urdhvapundre); and, moving into the complex and beautiful liturgies in praise of the sustainer who illumines all, he completes his "devotion at dawn" (sandhyavandana).
