- Scenes photographed in Gregor Mendel's own garden in Brno, Czechoslovakia, add authenticity to this presentation of his original work with pea plants which has become the basis of the present science of genetics. Duplicates some of Mendel's experiments and clearly explains his laws of dominance, segregation and independent assortment. Later work by de Vries, Correns, Morgan and Muller is also described.
