- (South African series) Presents the 20th century history of black resistance to white dominance in South Africa. It describes both the oppressive legislation faced by Blacks, and also their proud, if tragically received, efforts to create change. A story of one generation building on the experience of another outlines the range of resistance tactics which Blacks have employed from the legal deputations of the early ANC to the Defiance Campaigns of civil disobedience during the 1950s to the militancy of the late 70's.
