Forgotten American, The
- 1968 ----- color ----- 24 min ----- 16mm
- A documentary on the American Indian that describes the formula which causes their hopelessness and despair: minimal food and housing, inadequate educational facilities and limited employment opportunity. More damaging is the loss of identity and self-respect as an individual and as members of a vanishing and irreplaceable part of American culture. Shows that the Indian's exploitation by the white man is not a thing of the past but a state which continues to this day.
