- The discipline of transactional analysis is used as the primary instructional tool for the interpretation of behavior. Most persons learned patterns of reacting to stressful situations when they were very young. The stylized repetition of feelings that were learned and permitted in the past, and in which people now indulge, are called "rackets." Discusses various ways one can avoid getting trapped by old ways of reacting and become more authentic with ones feelings.
