Technology Learning Spaces
Classroom Support Services maintains three computer classrooms in Mary Gates Hall that are specially designed to support computer-based instruction, experimental education, and student collaboration. The computer classrooms utilize Dell’s Flexible Computing Solution, which centralizes processing and storage resources by using Citrix On-demand Desktop Streaming and Microsoft’s Application Virtualization. No software is installed on classroom computers; All software applications are streamed to the classrooms from a central server located in Kane Hall.
Each computer classroom workstation has the following specifications:

- Core2 Quad 2.83GHz Processors
- 4.0GB, Non-ECC, 800MHz DDR2 RAM
- 16X DVD+/-RW Drive
- Dell 19-in-1 Media Card Reader
- USB II Ports
- Dell 22 Inch Flat Panel Monitor
- Optical Mouse and Keyboard
- Microsoft Vista Enterprise Operating System
