- Labor Explained: With the exception of Room 234, an Event Assistant is required for all reservations in Kane Hall. If you are reserving three or more rooms, a Lead Event Assistant may be required (to be determined by Event Services). Other labor categories listed above may be required depending on the nature of your event.
Determining Your Rate
- Campus Rate: This rate applies to an event which is sponsored by a University department or Registered Student Organization (RSO). Payment must be made by University budget number. RSO's may pay by cash, check, money order, or credit card; however, sales tax and institutional overhead charge will apply. Events which are open to the public or off-campus attendees are subject to a four hour minimum room rental.
- Standard Rate: This rate applies to events which are open to the public, ticketed, or held by or in conjunction with an off-campus organization and they are required to submit a Request for Use of University Facilities form. Payment may be made by cash, check, money order, or credit card; however, sales tax and institutional overhead charge will apply. Pre-payment of the full estimated total is required no later than one month prior to the event.
