Located on the University of Washington’s beautiful Seattle campus, Event Services is here to help make your event a success. Hosting hundreds of events each year, our facilities accommodate a wide range of events. From lectures and conferences to receptions and concerts, the portfolio of events we host is rapidly expanding. The following is a quick breakdown of the venues we reserve:

• Kane Hall houses five large auditoriums with seating for up to 720 guests, the elegant Walker-Ames Reception Room, as well as a small conference room.
• Mary Gates Hall encompasses many classrooms, several meeting rooms, computer classrooms, videoconferencing clasrooms, and an auditorium. The Commons, which is located in the heart of the building, can accommodate up to 260 guests for a standing reception and also makes a wonderful site for fairs, display events, and wedding receptions.
• Johnson Hall is comprised of four classrooms that seat up to 70 and two auditoriums with seating for up to 195 guests.

To reserve a room for a special, one-time event, please submit your request via our online Reservation Request Form.

Quarterly classes requesting a room in Kane, Mary Gates or Johnson Halls are able to submit a request via the Departmental Time Schedule Construction System by clicking here. For questions, please contact the Room Assignments office regarding class scheduling in the Departmental Time Schedule Construction System.

Please note that our office only reserves the venues listed above. For a list of other venues on campus, please visit the Venue Operator list maintained by the Use of University Facilities Committee. You may also wish to consult a campus map.
