Classroom Technology and Events' Service Desk

Outstanding service begins with Classroom Technology and Events' service desk. Our service desk ensures that all faculty, staff and students have the technical support they need.

Please call our office at 206.543.9900 if you need technical assistance or have questions regarding the services we provide. We are here to answer your technical support questions and other requests for assistance from 7:45am until 9:00pm, Monday through Thursday during Autumn, Winter and Spring Quarters. Assistance by telephone is also available from 7:45am until 5:00pm, Monday through Friday during Summer Quarter and on Fridays during Autumn, Winter and Spring Quarters.

When you contact our office, we will enter your request for support into our request tracking system. We will ask for your name, UW NetID and a summary of your request for assistance. Your request will then be assigned a unique tracking number. CTE staff will track your request and document information related to the problem and solution. Even if we are able to resolve your request immediately, creating a new request helps us to document the types of requests for assistance that we receive, and to provide even better support in the future.

Contact Our Service Desk via the Web

To request assistance via the web:

1.) Go to the CTE Service Desk Web Form.
2.) Fill out the form.
3.) Click the Next button at the bottom of the form as needed.
4.) Click the Submit Request button at the bottom of the form.

The information you enter into the web form will be sent to the service desk. Our service desk ticket software will reply to your request automatically. The reply will include the ticket number that CTE staff members will use to track your request for assistance. A CTE staff member will promptly follow-up with you.
