Clark Hall Renovation

The University of Washington is actively planning for the complete renovation and restoration of Clark Hall. The planned project scope will address structural, seismic, life safety, and accessibility and other code deficiencies and will ensure the long-term preservation of this fourth-oldest building on the University of Washington campus. Building occupants (the Air Force, Army and Navy ROTC programs) are currently scheduled to be relocated to surge space in the fall of 2007 when Clark Hall will be closed for the duration of the construction. Building occupants are currently scheduled to reoccupy the restored Clark Hall in March 2009.

Upon reopening, approximately 2,300 assignable square feet of space in the restored Clark Hall will be dedicated to general assignment classrooms. The three 25-seat new classrooms will meet current standards for modern technology-enhanced learning spaces.
